Customer-oriented mold making starts with the ongoing creation of unique and varied concrete products which are fully reproducible. MY STONE »Development™« describes the creative process of designing a new concrete stone.

Starting from the look of natural stones or detailed customer specifications, KOBRA designs different shapes, geometries, surfaces and functions desired for any type of concrete block. In customized projects, each block type receives its specific character. No block is like the other, yet they are completely reproducible.

Variant 1

At KOBRA, all units involved in the mold engineering and making process work with 3D engineering and manufacturing programs. We can fall back on a wealth of experience in this sector which is to the benefit of your products.

Variant 2

Digitizing different natural models using modern laser technology. At this stage, an exclusive model number will be assigned to your unique surface design.

Variant 3

Minimal milling radii allow us to imitate nature as it is even with the tiniest details in our molds.

Variant 4

Each stone consists of three basic body elements: spacers, chamfer and surface. All three components can be put together in different combinations.

Variant 5

Smoothening the raw scan data and defining stacking points by elevating surface areas.

Variant 6

Modification of surface embossment by +/- 50%.

3D surfaces are scalable for customization. The stacking points remain unchanged when scaling.

The optical variation of your products can be increased by a mixed laying of stones with different surfaces. In relation to the production parameters of your stone making machines, we provide the optimal pallet layout.

Variant 12

Your order is checked technically using 3D stone and layout drawings. Apart from imaging your products close to reality, these documents provide the basis for our completely digital mold making. We dispose of more than 20,000 archived stone drawings, 14,000 stone layouts and 2,500 laying patterns.
